Passion has a way of leading us to our purpose. For the founder of Army Pink, that passion was born from personal experience—one that ignited a mission to help survivors of domestic violence find freedom, safety, and a new beginning.
A Mission Rooted in Experience
The journey of Army Pink began with a firsthand understanding of the struggles faced by survivors of domestic violence. After enduring similar challenges, the founder partnered with Peace Over Violence to support those in crisis. She saw the devastating impact of abuse—how it isolates victims, strips them of their confidence, and makes escape feel impossible. Many survivors feel trapped, not because they want to stay, but because they lack the means to leave.
Determined to break down those barriers, Army Pink was born—a nonprofit dedicated to providing survivors with the resources they need to escape, heal, and reclaim their lives.
Breaking Barriers, Building Freedom
One of the biggest obstacles survivors face is safe transportation. Leaving an abusive relationship is the most dangerous time, and without a secure way out, many feel forced to stay. Army Pink removes this obstacle by funding transportation, giving survivors a real chance to escape and start over.
But our mission doesn’t stop there. We believe in long-term empowerment. Through strategic partnerships, we connect survivors with the resources they need to rebuild their confidence and independence. From counseling and mental health support to education and career opportunities, we stand beside them every step of the way.
Expanding Our Reach and Impact
Domestic violence isn’t limited to one place—it’s a widespread issue that affects individuals everywhere. That’s why Army Pink is committed to expanding its reach and impact. While our initial efforts are based in the U.S., our long-term vision is to grow beyond borders, ensuring that survivors in more communities have access to the resources they need.
Our work doesn’t just help individuals escape dangerous situations; it creates a ripple effect. When a survivor is given a chance to rebuild, they regain their confidence, reclaim their independence, and often go on to support others in similar situations. The cycle of abuse is broken not just for one person, but for future generations. By continuing to form alliances with organizations dedicated to mental health, women’s rights, and crisis intervention, Army Pink is building a strong network of support that will continue to make a difference for years to come.
Uniting for Change
We can’t do this alone. That’s why Army Pink partners with organizations that fight for women’s rights, mental health, and education. By working together, we’re creating a future where no one has to stay in danger. Our mission is clear: to empower survivors to break free and build safer, brighter futures.
